In Belgium, student societies are a true pillar of student culture.
The Cercle Belge Lausannois is a non-profit student association, officially recognised by EPFL. Our mission, serious despite the self-mockery: giving EPFL students a taste of the best Belgium has to offer.
Our goal: a community open to everyone, where anyone attached to Belgian culture finds their place in Switzerland, and where everyone discovers that academic excellence and Belgian conviviality go perfectly together.
What do we do?
Life
Parties, drinks and big student gatherings: around ten events a year to get together, Belgians and friends of Belgium alike.
Culture
Beers, fries, waffles, chocolate and speculoos: our Belgian specialities stand was voted best stand at Vivapoly 2024.
Folklore
Tricolour hats, flags and self-mockery: we bring a bit of the Belgian student-society spirit to the Lausanne campuses.

Partners and sponsorship
Breweries, brands or institutions: team up with EPFL's student community. Product, financial or institutional partnership: we build a formula tailored to your goals, ideally over a beer (or a waffle).
